To purchase products from Hoja Verde Dark Chocolate USA (hvdc-usa), you must register for an account where you will be required to provide contact information (such as name, shipping address, phone number and email address).  During account registration you will also be required to choose a personal account password.  After registration, you may place an order from Hoja Verde Dark Chocolate USA (hvdc-usa) where you will be required to provide financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date, and billing address). This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

B) Newsletters
In order to send the infrequent—generally once per month—educational/promotional Hoja Verde Dark Chocolate USA (hvdc-usa) newsletter, customer e-mails will be stored our site database. If you wish to opt out of receiving such newsletters by unsubscribing please email us directly. 

C) Credit Card Processing:

You represent and warrant that if you are purchasing something from us that (i) any credit information you supply is true and complete, (ii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and (iii) you will pay the charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including any applicable taxes.
14. Links to other Web Sites. The Site contains links to other Web sites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or opinions express in such Web sites, and such Web sites are not investigated, monitored or checked for accuracy or completeness by us. Inclusion of any linked Web site on our Site does not imply approval or endorsement of the linked Web site by us. If you decide to leave our Site and access these third-party sites, you do so at your own risk.
15. Refund Policy. If a product purchased by you proves to be defective or not to your reasonable satisfaction, you can return the product within 21 days of receipt, to the following address: 8710 West Hillsborough Ave. #182, Tampa, FL 33615 - USA. In such event, we will provide you a credit for other purchases on the Site (less shipping and handling charges incurred). This Section 15 sets forth your sole and exclusive right to refund and return.
16. Typographical Errors: In the event that a Hoja Verde Dark Chocolate USA (hvdc-usa) product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Hoja Verde Dark Chocolate USA (hvdc-usa) reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Hoja Verde Dark Chocolate USA (hvdc-usa) reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Hoja Verde Dark Chocolate USA (hvdc-usa) shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
17. Information and Press Releases. The Site contains information and press releases about the Company. While this information was believed to be accurate as of the date prepared, we disclaim any duty or obligation to update this information or any press releases. Information about companies other than ours contained in the press release or otherwise, should not be relied upon as being provided or endorsed by us.
18. Miscellaneous. This Agreement shall be treated as though it were executed and performed in Tampa, Florida and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida (without regard to conflict of law principles) and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods Any cause of action by you with respect to the Site (and/or any information, products or services related thereto) must be instituted within one (1) year after the cause of action arose or be forever waived and barred. All actions shall be subject to the limitations set forth in Sections above. The language in this Agreement shall be interpreted as to its fair meaning and not strictly for or against either party. All legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be brought solely in Tampa Florida. You expressly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of said courts and consents to extra-territorial service of process. Should any part of this Agreement be held invalid or unenforceable, that portion shall be construed consistent with applicable law and the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. To the extent that anything in or associated with the Site is in conflict or inconsistent with this Agreement, this Agreement shall take precedence. Our failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision nor of the right to enforce such provision.

Shipping Policies

At Hoja Verde Dark Chocolate USA (hvdc-usa), we take as much care in shipping your order as we do in making our gourmet chocolates. We offer several ways for shipping, but company standard shipping is via USPS Priority mail. Other ways of shipping include:

• Expedited Shipping is automatic outside a ground ship area of our Tampa, Florida location.
• Overnight delivery (allow 24 hours for processing - not including weekends)  
• 2nd day air (up to 3 business days)
• Ground delivery (up to 5 business days).

Because of the varying temperatures across the US, we require all chocolate products to ship 2nd day air to any location outside a 2 day ship range from April 1 thru September 30. This may result in an order to be held for a Monday ship date to ensure product does not melt.

Shipping Deadlines

Please allow 24 hours for processing. All ground orders will be processed and shipped within 48 hours, unless the order needs to be held for Monday shipping due to weather. All expedited orders (next day, 2 day, and 3 day air) will be affected during holidays due to USPS and other carriers not shipping on any major holiday.
